As a Business Development Manager, you will be working across the full suite of Orro services. You will use all your proven skills and experience, within Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Sales, to drive business and customer satisfaction within the full suite of Orro product families. This includes:
• Digital Networks: LAN, WAN, SD-WAN
• Digital Infrastructure: DC, Private/Public/Hybrid Cloud
• Digital Workspace: Workspace, Collaboration, Contact Centre
• Cyber Security: Managed Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance
This Sydney-based role will focus on providing a confident and knowledgeable approach to advanced sales and solutions at a boardroom level, as well as driving new sales and retention opportunities to completion. Excellent presentation skills are key to your success.
Position Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Drive new sales within your allocated markets
• Develop new business opportunities via channels, personal industry connections, existing allocated accounts (where relevant) or any new accounts sourced by direct means, to achieve annual sales targets;
• Deliver responsive, timely and professional guidance to prospects from the first point of contact through to contract completion;
• Monitor sales performance through sales tracking tools and report progress;
• Maintain accurate customer data related to proposals, contracts and correspondence in systems;
• Leverage company tools to capture requisite information/data on customers and target market; and
• Provide first-class customer engagement
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
We are looking for a well-organised professional, with initiative and enthusiasm. You will have at least 10 years of relevant experience and will have a good mix of the following skills, knowledge & experience:
• Experience in understanding Managed Service solutions, hardware and licensing;
• Advanced experience with client relationship management (CRM) systems, or similar;
• Self-motivated, task-focused, able to use your own initiative and work both autonomously and as part of a team;
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication styles depending upon the audience;
• Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally;
Desirable but not required experience:
• Cloud based technologies, including Microsoft Azure and M365
• Collaboration technologies, specifically:
• Cisco (Cisco HCS, Webex Calling and Contact Centre); and
• Microsoft Teams Calling.
• Selling Private/Public Hybrid Cloud;
• Selling Managed Security and Cyber Security; and
• Selling outsourced Managed Services.
