About the Role

As Projects Network Engineer, you will ensure timely and accurate compliance with company policies and procedures.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the delivery of customer-specific projects to meet agreed implementation targets
  • Ability to manage priorities to ensure deadlines are met; and
  • Commitment to meet expected quality levels
  • High level of ongoing service delivery
  • Ensure effective communication levels and relationships are maintained internally and with customers.
  • An ongoing commitment to self-development and relevance of skill set; and
  • Pro-active engagement and innovation with customers to provide service improvement that has a positive business impact
  • Whilst your primary role is to focus on projects you may be called from time to time to assist with support related issues as such
  • Work with Orro Support staff based in Manila to respond, manage, and resolve support tickets for Orro customers.
  • Prioritise the resolution of tickets based on impact on customers and contracted service level agreements.
  • Communicate and seek guidance, where appropriate, with Orro Support and Professional Services teams to investigate and resolve support issues as they arise.
  • Always manage customer expectations in line with contractual requirements; and
  • Understand the products/solutions/technology and processes specific to Orro and how they are deployed and used by Orro customers.

We are looking for a well organised professional, with initiative, enthusiasm and a collaborative can-do attitude. You will have demonstrated the following skills, knowledge and experience:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current CCNP/CCIP, higher certifications like CCIE and CCDA are desirable
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in the design and implementation of data networks within a service provider environment
  • 2 years of experience supporting data networks within a service provider environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Detailed understanding of Cisco router and switching features
  • Exposure to Brocade switching would be an advantage
  • Excellent design and implementation skills
  • Excellent diagnostics and resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Contribute to a high powered and high output team
  • Capable of building long-term relationships with internal customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service ethic and focus
  • Self-motivation on and ability to work proactively in this busy environment
  • Previous experience in telecommunications would be highly advantageous
