We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer in our Cloud Services Group to join our growing team.

What is the role?

The successful applicant will be a flexible, team-focused self-starter who is intelligent and motivated to build a better network solution for tomorrow. You must have the ability to work under pressure, be a multi-tasker, and possess a creative edge for problem solving. This ole would also manage areas such as Server implementations, Workstation or large hardware / software rollouts, SaaS (Software/Service as a Service) rollout, HaaS (Hardware as a Service) rollout, Office relocations and Network deployment & migrations. The role includes but Is not limited to:

  • To provide clear and concise delivery of services in written and oral communication.
  • At all-times to provide responsive and focused delivery of services whilst maintaining professional standards in performance and conduct.
  • Ensure service standards are maintained through company policy adherence.
  • Develop team working practices to enhance the team capabilities.
  • Provide adaptable and analytical approach to problem solving and troubleshooting. Understanding the importance of escalation and the impact of problems on customer’s businesses.
  • Provide pro-active assistance to team members when required
  • Communicate to customer by keeping them informed of progress, notifying them of impending changes and agreed outages etc.
  • Maintain specific knowledge of the customer and how our services and products relate to their business strategy and goals

We are looking for a well organised professional, with initiative, enthusiasm and a collaborative can-do attitude. You will have minimum 3 years in Level 2 or higher support roles role and will have a good mix of the following skills, knowledge & experience:

  • Experience with Windows desktops, server environments and active directory.
  • Experience with M365, Gsuite, Azure, Workspace One and AWS is preferable
  • Experience in delivery of Managed Services solutions
  • Strong organisational, presentation and customer service skills
  • Extremely strong demonstrable knowledge of all Microsoft desktop operating systems.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and server application functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Analytical and logically thinker with creativity for solutions
  • Ability to buy into a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment
  • After hour work is required for this role
