We are looking for an experienced Presales Solution Architect in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne who will be dedicated, visible and highly responsive and can immediately contribute to the growth and success of the business.

About the role

We are looking for a Presales Solutions architect who wants to be part of a team that delivers end-to-end cloud solutions for our customers.

Position Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • The delivery of advisory services and technical solutions to customers across the Cloud Services Group (CSG) portfolio
  • Build and deliver proposals, presentations, comparative analysis, and proof of concepts that highlight technical aspects solutions
  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) for the Sales team during customer engagements
  • Assist customers in the building of business cases, cost analysis and high-level architecture design documents
  • Manage and provide specifications for configuration to meet customer requirements
  • Conduct product demonstrations and overviews for customers and prospects
  • Assist in resolving business operational issues
  • Assist in the successful implementation of CSG opportunities within the “Sales to Delivery” lifecycle

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

We are looking for a self-motivated, team oriented, driven individual to develop and increase revenues through sales and presales consulting engagements.

  • 5+ years’ experience in presales providing consulting and collaborative contributions for technical sales and deployment projects, architectural design, and implementation and support of designed solutions
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in solving customer problems and business requirements through a variety of technologies, including public and private cloud, on-premises infrastructure, third-party applications, and end user modern device and identity management
  • Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and engagement to manage expectations and achieve consensus on solutions and projects
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and cloud technologies
  • Deep domain expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions including Windows and Linux IaaS, modern security and identity services, storage and backup/DR solutions, PaaS solutions for modern applications and databases
  • Certifications or equivalent experience in governance frameworks such as ITIL. Prince2, PMP, TOGAF, CCNA, Microsoft, AWS, etc
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills, verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, as well as creation and delivery of executive briefings
